The Kentucky Wesleyan Wind Ensemble, under the direction of the new band director, Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Patrick Stuckemeyer, will present their Fall Concert entitled “Short Ride in a Fast Machine,” a collection of wind band classics at 2 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Daviess County High School Auditorium. Guest Conductor Dr. Nick Palmer will direct “Galop” by Dmitri Shostakovich. The wind ensemble includes music majors, non-music majors, community members and the finest high school players from the Owensboro area.
The KWC Panther Pep Band, also under the direction of Stuckemeyer, will provide music for basketball games this season.
