Owensboro Community & Technical College’s Associate Degree Nursing, Radiography, Surgical Technology, and Phlebotomy programs donated personal protective equipment and medical supplies normally used in the lab portions of the allied health programs to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

Veena Sallan, OCTC’s Vice President of Academic Affairs said the community must all pull together during this crisis.

“We are humbled by the opportunity to play a small part in the effort to combat the spread of this illness,” Sallan said.

OCTC President, Scott Williams said, “I am so proud of our students, and employees, rising to the challenges during this time of crisis. It is during times like these that we must all demonstrate the true meaning of community.”
