Ghostly Productions is hosting a Friday the 13th Bash tomorrow. Beginning at noon, there will be a day-long Friday the 13th movie marathon at 203 W. 4th St.

Owner Payton Ford said there will be cosplay contests, giveaways and prizes, and discounts all day long. The event is to help raise money to repair the “Dragula Hearse” which was recently vandalized.

“The hearse was vandalized during store hours early Saturday afternoon,” Ford said. “Someone pulled up to the stoplight and busted out the back door side window, which is no longer in production. We had to have a window custom-made and installed.”

Ford said every dollar spent is another step closer to the hearse, a 1988 Cadillac, being back in action.

The finale will come at 8 p.m. with a special Friday the 13th Ghost Tour hosted by the Haunts of Owensboro.

Everything is free except for the ghost tour. Tickets for that are $15 a person.

Ford said they have had a week-long sales event to try to help fund the repairs, but he is hoping for a strong turnout tomorrow to help lessen the hit.

“We have new orders coming in, and lots of new costumes, props, and masks to be picked up in the hearse within the coming weeks.”
