The Party Space Place will be holding its first May Market from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. More than a dozen vendors will offer a variety of clothing, food, jewelry and artwork at 5010 Wildcat Way, and the family friendly outdoor event will be open to the entire community.

TPSP co-owner Allyson Sanders said she was excited to host the May Market at a time when more and more people were feeling comfortable about getting out of the house and being in public again.

“There is nothing better than to see people come in here and have a good time, despite everything that’s happened,” Sanders said. “People are starting to get excited about living again, about having plans and getting out.”

A longtime supporter of small businesses, Sanders said Sunday’s May Market will exemplify a “bunch of small businesses looking out for each other.”

“All of these people from the community wanting to support it, it’s exciting,” she said.

Vendors will line the sidewalk and parking lot at tomorrow’s event, providing plenty of space in an open-air environment for a potentially large crowd. Sanders said TPSP asks that customers in attendance abide by the current COVID-19 regulations put in place by Gov. Andy Beshear.

Vendors participating in the May Market include Bright Eye Designs, Confetti Boutique, The Spot Coffee Bus, Molly’s Mixins, Beloved Flower Company, Cru Outfitters, The Velvet Butterfly Jewelry, Rough River Metal Works, Hello Pops, Bonnie Rae Boutique, J’s Good Grub, Shayla Renae Lettering and Design, The Tailored Teachers and Earrings By Les.
