ROMP Festival 2023 guide: Everything you need to know

The 20th annual ROMP Festival officially kicks off today and runs through Saturday. Here’s everything to know, including a site map, the full daily schedule, and how to buy tickets plus info on camping, kids zone activities, and hot air balloon rides.

Tickets/camping

Tickets can be purchased here. Four-day general admission for one person is $225 (or $250 with camping). Four-day VIP is $600 per person. Single-day tickets are $45 for Wednesday, $90 for Thursday, $100 for Friday, and $105 for Saturday.

Camping is on a first-come, first-serve basis. More information on camp sites and arrival/departure times can be found here

Trolley to downtown Owensboro

During ROMP, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum will host several events and activities in addition to tours during ROMP. The trolley schedule can be found below.

Kids Zone

The Kids Zone activities are free to all, and all children 12 and under get free admission into the entire festival. Featuring crafts, storytelling, interactive programs with wildlife, music workshops, and more, the Kids Zone offers something for all families. Click here to see the full schedule of activities.  

Hot Air Balloon Rides

Rides will be available Friday and Saturday from 6-8:30 p.m. The balloons will rise 30 feet in the air and will be attached to tie-off points. Tickets can be purchased here.
