Owensboro musicians are spreading the cheer at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital over the holidays. Music on Call is an Owensboro Symphony Orchestra community engagement program that features musicians spreading cheer throughout the community.

In its third year at Owensboro Health, musicians will be playing in the lobby of the hospital. They can play solo or in an ensemble.

“This program takes music to the community — not the community always having to come to us,” said Dan Griffith, CEO of the Owensboro Symphony. “We want to go into the community where people are and where sometimes they can’t leave.”
