Great White to perform live at Beaver Dam drive-in concert

The Beaver Dam Amphitheater has announced a drive-in concert event that will take place in mid-August, when the band Great White will make a stop at the Beaver Dam City Park.

“Tailgatin’ at the DAM: An Evening with GREAT WHITE” is scheduled to perform Aug. 15. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at dusk.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 9 a.m. at BeaverDamAmp.com. Space is limited.

Each Vehicle Ticket is good for up to four people per vehicle. They range in price from $104.50 to $204.50 (plus processing fees and service charges).

Only cars, SUVs and trucks are allowed. For safety reasons trailers, RVs, ATVs, motorcycles or vehicles with more than four wheels are not permitted. 

Masks are required when guests leave their designated space, such as when they got to the restroom. Guests are asked to abide by all state and CDC mandates and guidelines.

Additional Details: 

  • Concert location is in the 9-acre field adjacent to the amphitheater. Fans will enter at the same City Park entrance used for regular concerts. 
  • Coolers are allowed.
  • Alcoholic beverages may be brought in and consumed by guests 21 and over.
  • Food and snacks are allowed.
  • Pedestrian entry not allowed.
  • Pop-up tents are not allowed. 
  • Vehicles will be parked in one space and have a second space for tailgating.
  • Restrooms available.

“We’re excited to bring families and fans together to enjoy a safe concert experience in Beaver Dam,” said Becky Geary, Executive Director of Beaver Dam Tourism Commission. “Make plans to arrive early and enjoy the tailgatin’ experience before the sun goes down. We will present the concert in accordance with all guidelines. Safety is our top priority. We make it fun with prizes and giveaways before the show starts.” 

Great White’s arsenal of songs include the Grammy-nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit “Once Bitten, Twice Shy.” The band has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, has six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard albums, two platinum albums, and clocked the top of MTV four times.
