Darin & Brooke Aldridge to perform in Owensboro Saturday

Husband-and-wife duo Darin & Brooke Aldridge will be in Owensboro for a concert April 23 at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. They have combined for multiple top awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association and they recently released This Life We’re Livin’ — their critically acclaimed ninth album.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. Bar and concessions will be available. Tickets are on sale now here. VIP seating is $38, and reserved seating is $34.

Brooke is a four-time consecutive winner for Female Vocalist of the Year for the IBMA. She was nominated for a fifth time in 2021. 

Darin, once a six-year member of The Country Gentlemen with the late Charlie Waller, is a former IBMA Mentor of the Year. 

Together with their band, they were recognized with the IBMA’s nomination for 2021 Vocal Group of the Year. They have enjoyed top spots on the numerous music charts and featured on several TV shows.

Their long-held dream to one day play the Grand Ole Opry came true on July 4, 2017, and since then they have graced the Opry stage more than 35 times.
