PorchFest will return to Griffith Avenue this Saturday, complete with 40 acts performing across 13 stages throughout the evening. The free music festival will also feature a dozen food trucks offering a wide range of grub and desserts.
PorchFest is a unique music festival, as the “stages” that performers will utilize are the front porches of Owensboro families along Griffith Avenue. A list of stages and acts can be found below.
Performances will begin as early as 3 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
Each year, Owensboro’s PorchFest decides on a different local nonprofit to support using the money raised from merchandise sales. This season, those proceeds will go toward the Taylor Widmer Foundation, which allows his family to give back to the community in Widmer’s memory.
