Multi-platinum-selling country and gospel singer Josh Turner is performing in Owensboro this Thursday as a stop on his “Long Black Train 20th Anniversary Tour.” The concert will be at 7 p.m. at the RiverPark Center.

Tickets start at $39 and can be purchased here. The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of Turner’s hit debut album “Long Black Train” and the album’s second single of the same name, which were both certified platinum. On Friday, the album “Long Black Train” will be released on vinyl for the first time to coincide with the anniversary of the single’s original 2003 release date.

His second album, “Your Man,” accounted for Turner’s first two number-one hits: “Your Man” and “Would You Go with Me.” His 2010 album “Haywire” produced his biggest hit, the four-week No. 1 “Why Don’t We Just Dance.”

Turner has sold more than 6.5 million records and reached 4.8 billion global streams.
