Shop Owensboro kicks off Saturday and will continue throughout next week as an effort to support local small businesses. A total of 500 shopping bags will be given away on Saturday that contain coupons, hidden gift certificates, a map, and a Shop Owensboro Bingo card. Here’s the list of participating businesses.
Shoppers can pick up their green bags filled with deals and discounts from participating businesses at Independence Bank, located at 2425 Frederica Street, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Shop Owensboro 2023 is powered by Independence Bank and presented by the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. The event was created to elevate the well-known Small Business Saturday concept, with a focus on shopping local with Chamber Members.
