The Daviess County Public Library is hosting its annual Handmade Crafts Fair on Saturday, when more than 40 stalls will showcase a variety of handmade wares from local artisans and craftsmen. Much of the work will be for sale to the public.
The fair will run from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Local food trucks Taqueria La Bendicion De Dios and Crowe’s Nest will be set up in the library’s parking lot during the event.
Inside, attendees can find a range of local crafts, including:
- Handmade woodcrafts, wooden décor, and ornaments
- Crochet plushies, macrame items, and felt creations
- Jewelry, including wire designs, rosaries, and accessories
- Art, paintings, paper goods, and home décor
- Baked goods, sweets, and healthy treats
- Soaps, candles, luffas, and resin crafts
- Repurposed vintage items, keychains, and 3D-printed creations
- Seasonal items such as wreaths, stockings, and hand-sewn Christmas towels
Some vendors may accept cash only. The library does not have an ATM onsite and cannot provide change, so attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly.
