A Candy Cane Hunt is being held on Saturday at Yellow Creek Park. The event will also feature live music from local school choirs, a petting zoo, holiday merchants, and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Daviess County Parks & Recreation is hosting the event, set to take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Candy Cane Hunt (similar to an Easter Egg Hunt) will begin at 1:30 p.m. Children ages 3-10 are invited to participate.
Market vendors will offer gifts and other Christmas goods for purchase.
Choirs from Meadow Lands Elementary, Burns Elementary, College View Middle, and Daviess County High schools are scheduled to perform.
