Accompanied by Santa, Mrs. Claus and an elf, a live reindeer will be at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History this Saturday for what’s become an annual tradition.
The experience runs from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1-5 p.m. at the museum, located at 122 East 2nd Street. The Owensboro Community Band will also be performing at 1 p.m.
Admission is $5 for guests and free for museum members. Guests can take their own photos.
The admission fee also includes access to the museum, which has added multiple exhibits over the last year for people of all ages to enjoy.
Guests interested in a membership to the museum can find out more during the event. The membership includes reciprocal free or reduced admission to more than 350 museums across the country through the ASTC program.
This year’s event is sponsored by River Valley Behavioral Health.
