Owensboro Health Family Medicine on Veach Road will be relocating its offices into another nearby Owensboro Health practice.

The Family Medicine practice on Veach Road is currently in the Lincoln Professional Center at 2816 Veach Road, Building 4. On June 1, the practice will move to the Owensboro Health Family Medicine practice at 811 E. Parrish Ave. (the space where the Emergency Department was when Owensboro Health Regional Hospital was located on Parrish Avenue). Providers affected by the move are:

  • Becky McKindles, MD
  • Heather Smith, MD
  • Meghan McKinley, APRN

They will be practicing alongside providers already at the Parrish location. Those providers are:

  • Susan Daniel, APRN
  • Samantha Payne, APRN

Dr. Jody Mitchell, medical director for Owensboro Health Medical Group, said the move will have a number of benefits for patients.

“The space at Parrish Avenue is newer and better-equipped to meet the needs of our patients. There’s also a walkway that connects the Parrish building’s third floor to the Breckenridge Medical Building, where patients can get diagnostic imaging and lab testing done if needed,” Dr. Mitchell said.

Dr. Mitchell added that the attached parking structure and the walkway to the Breckenridge Medical Building make it easier for patients to get medical services and testing without having to travel far.

“There’s plenty of parking space in the parking garage attached to the building. Patients and visitors can park and walk into their appointment, or head over to the Breckenridge Medical Building for additional tests, without ever having to walk outside or drive to another location,” Dr. Mitchell said.
