Shiloh's Lounge

One of the first new businesses going into the recently renovated Gabe’s Shopping Center is Shiloh’s Lounge. Owned by Justin Davidson and his brother, Shiloh’s Lounge will operate as a restaurant, bar, hookah lounge and entertainment venue — with a grand opening slated for April 10.

For now, Davidson and his team have been holding soft openings. Though it’s located where the former Eight Ball Restaurant used to be at 1846 Triplett Street, Davidson and his team have renovated the entire space to accommodate their vision.

“In the past, I’ve been involved in entertainment,” said Davidson, who also spearheads the Sheila K. Foundation. “We’ve hosted parties during the Dust Bowl and bring in artists for that. But we’ve never had our ownership until now.”

Davidson and his team have been promoting Shiloh’s Lounge over the last few weeks, and already the group has sold out all of their VIP booths for opening night.

“It’s a whole different vibe,” Davidson said of the venue. “Owensboro has never seen anything like this. It’s a unique type of setting.”

According to Davidson, Shiloh’s Lounge will have the versatility to serve the public both day and night. Breakfast and lunch will be served during morning and evening hours, and the daytime restaurant and bar will transform into more of a club at night.

Shiloh’s Lounge will serve chicken strips, pork chop sandwiches, burgers, taco salads, wings and fish platters. They will also have a full bar.

Davidson estimated his business would provide at least 10 jobs.

As a family-focused business, Davidson said he has a lot of hope for the future of Shiloh’s Lounge, which was named after his son. He’s already received support from the community, and said he was proud to see his experience in entertainment come to life in the form of a brick-and-mortar establishment.

Shiloh’s Lounge will be closed on Mondays, but will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 p.m.-2 a.m.
