This is a paid release.

As Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, the opening of the corn maze at The Cottage marks our official kick-off of fall.

Visitors can get lost in five acres of corn and search for the ten hidden mailboxes with fun facts about corn and a chance to win prizes.

If corn is not your thing, our sunflower field is beginning to bloom. Our sunflowers make for a great photo opportunity for families, couples, besties, and selfies. You can cut a stem to take home for only $1.

While you’re here, grab a strawberry or lemon slushy and get a cute souvenir cup or try our full menu. Our Owensburger™ remains a favorite with our customers.

Starting Friday, September 2, The Cottage will be open from 6:30 am to 6 pm Fridays and Saturdays. On Labor Day, we’ll be open from 6:30 am to 4 pm. The last ticket for the corn maze is sold 30 minutes before closing. Admission is $5 per person, and children under two years old get in free.

The Cottage Farm Stand & Baking Co. is at 6869 Highway 56 in Sorgho. Check our website, cottagefarmstand.com, or our Facebook page, facebook.com/TheCottageHwy56, for up-to-date event information.
