Detectives are currently investigating a robbery that took place early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1:42 a.m., Wednesday, Aug 29, the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to the 1800 block of Breckenridge Street for the robbery of an individual.
The victim, 25-year-old Deonte Holland, had multiple stab wounds and indicated he had been robbed by a group of three to five individuals and was able to provide officers with minimal descriptions.
The victim was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries and has been released.
