On Friday, August 24, 2018, the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to the 1000 block of West 7th Street on a report of an individual being stabbed. The victim was transported to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the suspect was located a short time later. The suspect was charged with second degree assault and tampering with physical evidence. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
