On Monday, Sept. 24th, 2018, Katherine Hoffmann was arrested and charged with assault first degree in regards to this shooting.

On Sept. 23, 2018, at approximately 12:47 a.m., the Owensboro Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of East 17th Street.
The victim, 36-year-old Omari McFarlane, was shot multiple times and has potentially life-threatening injuries.
Detectives responded to handle the investigation and still working to identify the suspect in this case.
