Anthony pleads not guilty to murder

In an arraignment Friday morning, Travon Anthony entered a plea of not guilty, waiving formal arraignment. Anthony’s bond was set at $100,000 and a trial date was set for Dec. 17, 2018.


UPDATE – Sept. 21, 2018

The Owensboro Police Department has confirmed that suspect, Travon Anthony, that was wanted in connection with the Sept. 10 shooting that occurred at Martin Way and W Second St., has been arrested.

According to OPD, Anthony turned himself in thanks to involvement from the community.

Anthony was arrested with a complaint warrant for first-degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and was charged with intimidating a participant in the legal process.


UPDATE – Sept. 21, 2018

A warrant has been issued and served on Travon Anthony for murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and intimidating a participant in the legal process for this case. Mr. Anthony is currently lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.


UPDATE – Sept. 20, 2018

The Owensboro Police Department has confirmed that the victim, Todd Raley, has died. Detectives are currently working with the Medical Examiner’s Office and Commonwealth Attorney’s Office to determine appropriate charges.


Sept. 11, 2018

The Owensboro Police Department needs your help in locating a suspect that is wanted in connection with the shooting that occurred at 7:40 p.m. Sept. 10 at Martin Way and W Second St.

The suspect is 30-year-old Travon Edward Anthony. He is a 6’1” black male that weighs 180 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

OPD advises to please take caution as the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
