Matt Adams appeared in court Thursday morning before Judge Jay Wethington for a pretrial conference that had been rescheduled after a prolonged power outage at the Judicial Center on Oct. 15.
This was the second pretrial conference set following a July 11 grand jury murder indictment that was filed against Adams after the July 3 death of 25-year-old Erica Owen.
Adams’ defense attorney Eric Stovall is currently in the process of obtaining Adam’s medical records for the case.
Both the prosecution and defense teams made motions for discovery and another pre-trial conference was set for March 6 at 8:30 a.m.
