Today Detectives from the Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit working with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Indiana State Police (ISP), and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) intercepted a package being delivered to an address in Owensboro containing 18 pounds of marijuana and marijuana based products.
Dianesia Palmer, 38 years old, of Owensboro, was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds and possession of drug paraphernalia. Detectives are still investigating this case and additional charges and arrests are likely.
