No new COVID-19 cases announced for area

No new cases of COVID-19 were announced for Daviess County or the surrounding areas Sunday morning.

The total number of reported COVID-19 cases by Green River District Health Department in the seven-county district is 129, and 55 patients have recovered. There have been a total of four deaths — three in Daviess County and one in McLean County

The latest reported county totals are:

  • Daviess County – 81 cases, 39 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 13 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
  • Hancock County – 2 cases, 1 recovered
  • Henderson County – 23 cases, 10 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 6 ever hospitalized
  • McLean County – 5 cases, 2 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 2 ever hospitalized, 1 death
  • Ohio County – 8 cases, 1 recovered case, 2 current hospitalizations, 5 ever hospitalized
  • Union County – 3 cases, 2 recovered
  • Webster County – 7 cases, 1 current hospitalization, 2 ever hospitalized

Patients range in age from 18-92, with an average age of 50. To date, 58.9% of patients have been female and 41.1% have been male. Cases by age range are:

  • 1-19 — 2 cases
  • 20-29 — 15 cases
  • 30-39 — 17 cases
  • 40-49 — 29 cases
  • 50-59 — 26 cases
  • 60-69 — 25 cases
  • 70-79 — 10 cases
  • 80+ — 5 cases

Cases are expected to continue to rise as testing capacity increases in the area and across the state.
