Two roads in Daviess County will have resurfacing work done this week.
Resurfacing on KY 405 begins today as a contractor will be milling and addressing base failures until 5 p.m.
Guard rail replacement will be addressed on Tuesday. The section of highway 405 to receive improvements is from Graves Lane extending north to KY 662 — a distance of 2.25 resurfacing miles. Asphalt paving efforts for this section of KY 405 will be addressed mid-August.
Resurfacing on KY 54 begins at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
A contractor will be milling and addressing base failures on a section of Leitchfield Road until 5 p.m.
The section of highway to receive improvements is 0.09 miles east of Waterwheel Way at Asphalt Joint extending east to Jack Hinton Road — a distance of 3.28 miles of resurfacing. Asphalt paving efforts for this section of KY 54 will be addressed mid-August.
