The 2022 Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, May 17, but votes won’t be cast at precincts like they used to be. Instead, there will be 15 polling centers for residents to choose from on election day (as well as three locations for three days of early voting starting Thursday). Here’s where to vote, plus a copy of the sample ballot.
Voters can use any of the 15 polling centers on Election Day. Voters should bring a photo ID for an easy experience, although there are ways to be checked in if you do not have a photo ID. In that case, you can use an alternative ID such as a social security card, food stamp/benefit card, or credit/debit card.

Absentee voting
- Absentee ballots were already sent out and can no longer be requested.
- All ballots must be returned by mail or placed in one of the drop boxes located at:
- Daviess County Courthouse (212 St. Ann Street) by May 17
- Daviess County Public Library (2020 Frederica Street) by May 16
