DCSO: Man found with meth concealed ‘inside of his person’ following traffic violation

A 38-year-old Owensboro man was found with a bag of meth concealed “inside of his person” during an arrest on May 17, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. The bag was removed from inside Boone when his was lodged in jail.

According to a release, DCSO made a traffic stop on Jonathan Bradley Boone on May 17 at East 9th and Breckinridge streets. Detectives reported that it was determined Boone had multiple outstanding warrants for arrest.

As he was being put into the back of the patrol vehicle, Boone advised deputies he had a bag of methamphetamine concealed “inside of his person,” according to DCSO. The bag was removed from inside at DCDC.

Boone faces charges of:

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substances 1st Degree, 1st Offense (>or= 2 GMS Methamphetamines)
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence
  • Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)
  • Possession of a Handgun by Convicted Felon
  • Theft by Deception – Included Cold Checks (Criminal Summons)
