Impact100 will be giving away three grants totaling $234,000 to local nonprofits later this year, while Impact100 Next Generation will award an additional $6,700 grant.

“We continue to be amazed by the generosity of the women in our community,” said Beth Clements, President of Impact100. “We have members from Daviess, McLean, Henderson and Ohio counties. This shows that Impact100 members see the value in the work being done by nonprofits in the greater Owensboro area and are choosing to donate their dollars where they know it will make the biggest impact. It’s the power of women coming together to make transformational change.”

For Impact100, there will be two $100,000 grants along with one residual $34,000 grant. Since their start 19 years ago, the women of Impact100 have given away more than $4.3 million to local nonprofits.

Impact100 NextGen is the philanthropy organization for teenage girls that is associated with Impact100 Owensboro. Since being established in 2017, they have given $71,400 to the community.

“The NextGen committee members and I are honored to walk alongside and guide these young ladies as they build their membership and learn how their collective generosity can make a huge impact in our community,” said Sydney Warren, NextGen Chair. “They will now spend the summer analyzing the grant proposals and will learn so much about the work the nonprofit agencies are already doing and how their funds can be used for meaningful growth and change.”

The online application for the grants is open now and will close on May 31. All local area nonprofits are welcome to apply. To apply for a grant, click here.
