Running unopposed, Jennifer Besecker will continue to serve as Daviess County’s Circuit Clerk for another term.

Besecker, who has now worked in the Circuit Court system for more than 25 years, was sworn into the position for her first term in December 2018.

“The community support has been such a blessing and I’m forever grateful and humbled for their continued support,” she said. “The court system is slowly moving into an all-electronic record and will also be changing to a new statewide case management system. I wanted to be there to support and guide my hard-working staff, and all judicial players, during these transitions. I am looking forward to the next 6 years serving as Daviess County’s Circuit Court Clerk.”

As Circuit Clerk, part of Besecker’s duties include managing all civil and criminal filings, pooling and calling of a jury, and managing the Circuit Clerk’s office.
