Suzanne Miles will continue to serve as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 7.

Miles first assumed office on January 4, 2014. She ran unopposed in both the 2024 primary and general election. The 7th District is entirely within Daviess County and largely spans the western and central portions of the county.

“It’s an honor to continue to serve,” Miles said. “It’s a privilege. Sometimes people kind of lose sight of that, and I hope I haven’t. We’re still working on several things that may not be for the masses. Addressing human trafficking has been something that I’ve worked on, and that’s not necessarily for the masses, but for the people it helps, it helps a lot. I’m also getting feedback from the expungement bill that we did that it’s helping a lot of people. The biggest thing that I’m excited about most recently is to see what happens with the pipeline for healthcare workers. With that being said, we’ve got more work to do.”

She serves as the House’s Majority Caucus Chair and is the first woman in Kentucky to serve as both an acting floor leader and an acting speaker of the chamber.
