Henry Miller Bugay

Henry Miller Bugay passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 on Little Corn Island, Nicaragua. He was born in Washington, D.C. in 1953 and was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Paul Bugay. He is survived by a son, Forrest Bugay and his wife Ariele of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a sister, Sandra Bugay of Owensboro: a nephew Sean Griffis and his wife Liuda of Nashville, TN; and three first cousins, Arthur Bugay, Sam Bugay, and Rosalind Schiller, all of Philadelphia. Henry was a graduate of Owensboro High School, The University of Kentucky, and the Chase College of Law. He practiced law with his father in Owensboro, and later had a private practice in Miami, Florida.
Private burial in Cemetery Adath Israel will be immediately upon his arrival home. A memorial visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30 at Temple Adath Israel. In lieu of flowers and to honor Henry’s affection for four legged creatures, remembrances may be sent to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals online at ASPCA.org. To honor Henry’s love and regard for his parents, remembrances may also be sent to Temple Adath Israel, 429 Daviess Street, Owensboro, KY 42303.
