Jack H. Clark

July 25, 1926 - November 4, 2019

Jack H. Clark, 93, of Owensboro passed away Monday November 4, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 25, 1926 in Daviess County to the late Robert W. Clark Sr. and Henrietta Brey Clark. Jack served in the United States Army, was a W.W. II veteran, and just recently completed a trip on the Honor Flight to Washington DC. He enjoyed R/C airplanes and boats and was a member of the Isotopes R/C airplane club. Jack was a devoted Ohio River boater and was the 2nd person to barefoot ski here in Owensboro.

He worked at the Ideal Milk Company prior to becoming the founder and owner of the Owensboro Cycle Center (Kawasaki) from 1968-1998, he loved riding motorcycles, on and off road.

Jack was very family oriented, no matter what he did, he was usually doing it with his family.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margie Johnson Clark; and a brother, R.W. Clark Jr.

Jack is survived by his three children, Douglas A. Clark (Doris), Connie Bellamy (Stan), and Bruce L. Clark (Donna); grandchildren, Misty Clark Thomasson (Ben), Brent Bellamy, Brian Bellamy (Sarah), Jay Bellamy, Leah Clark Burchfield (Jeff Jr.), and Dana Clark Lanham; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Bryce, Cooper and Ollie; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Smith and Maxine Johnson; and a brother-in-law, Harold Johnson (Barbara).

The funeral Mass for Jack Clark will be 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Pat Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday with prayers at 7:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
