Bruce Kunze is a leader for all of Daviess County. After serving our community as both a teacher and an elected official where he positively impacted the future of this region, he then volunteered his time to help develop the programming and lead the students in the Wendell H. Ford Government Education Center. There he embraced and encouraged the program’s principles of civility, cooperation, and compromise and connected with students of all backgrounds, beliefs, and political affiliations. His only goals were to help them appreciate their ability to be future leaders, learn to respect each other’s differences, and understand the importance of civic engagement in making a positive difference in their community.

Bruce will be an exceptional Judge-Executive who cares about the safety of our citizens and the efficiency of our government. He will listen with the intent to understand and be ready to champion great ideas that will move Daviess County forward. His life of service has led to a unique understanding of how issues affect both county and city residents, and his knowledge of history will better prepare him to help Daviess County avoid pitfalls and take advantage of opportunities. Bruce’s embodiment of civility, cooperation and compromise will make you proud to have him serving as Daviess County Judge-Executive.
