I support Bob Glenn for the City Commission because he has proven he cares about the people of Owensboro. He has worked hard during his five terms which resulted in the completion of and upgrades to many projects, including the completion of major flood control projects in the York Area Neighborhood and the completion of OMU’s Water Plant Expansion. Most all our parks have been upgraded, along with the OPD Training Center. The police officer shortage was addressed, and the Station 2 OFD Firehouse was expanded. In addition, Owensboro’s finances are in better shape than they have ever been.
Bob wants to continue working for another two years. He is successful because he does his research, listens, and effectively communicates with others to get their point of view. He sees the big picture and asks the tough questions. He is an active member of the St. Benedict’s Homeless Shelter and wants to address the housing shortage and homelessness. He is also an assessment team member of the United Way of Ohio Valley and executive board member of the Lion’s Club, to name a few organizations in which he is involved. Bob’s leadership has made Owensboro a better place to live.
Help him continue his successful work! Join me in voting to re-elect Bob Glenn for City Commission!
