A traffic accident occurred on Thursday at 11:47 a.m. at the 2500 block of McMahan Rd. Drivers in the accident included Elizabeth D. Pierce, 69, of the 200 block of Kenya Ct. and Bryan L. Fuqua, 52, of the 4900 block of Cambridge Dr. Pierce was injured in the accident and was treated at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
A traffic accident occurred on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the corner of W. 2nd St. and Woodford Ave. Drivers in the accident included Trevor Wheatley, 18, of the 900 block of Jackson St. and Brett Hall, 20, of the 1300 block of W. Independence Ave. Wheatley was injured in the accident and was transported to OHRH for treatment.
In the 2700 block of HIllbrooke Pkwy. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition from a building $10,000 or more and under $1,000,000 was reported. A 14-carat gold ring and two princess-cut, 2-carat earrings were reported stolen at an estimated value of $10,500.
In the 2200 block of Twenty Grand Ave. on Thursday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A neon green, 125-foot extension cord was reported stolen at an estimated value of $15.
In the 2400 block of Citation Ave. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A leaf blower was reported stolen at an estimated value of $110.
In the 2200 block of Boarman Dr. on Thursday, a first-degree wanton endangerment and a first-degree burglary were reported. $10 cash and a crossbow were reported stolen at an estimated value of $10.
In the 300 block of Breckenridge St. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,00o was reported. Three Motorola radios and a Dewalt half-inch impact driver were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,285.
On Friday, a first-degree sodomy was reported on Bosley Rd.
In the 2000 block of W. 4th St. on Friday, a third-degree assault on a police officer or probation officer, a second-degree menacing and a second-degree disorderly conduct were reported.
