Nicholas Fowler, 21, of the 1400 block of Frederica Street was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Cokerel, 34, of the 6800 block of State Route 2830 was charged Wednesday with theft by deception under $500 and theft by unlawful taking under $10,000 (Jefferson County summons).

Carl D. Warren, 32, of the 3800 block of Benttree Drive was charged Wednesday with contempt of court, trafficking in marijuana over 5 lbs., possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a defaced firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Doris L. Valentine, 49, of Radcliff, KY was charged Wednesday with probation violation, failure to appear and theft by deception.

Brook Leann Jupin, of unknown residence was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking or disposition of shoplifting $500 or more and under $10,000.

Billy French, 36, of the 200 block of Industrial Road was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, and five counts of failure to appear.

Jeffery W. Dickinson, 37, of the 3000 block of Legion Park Drive was charged Thursday with a warrant for contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order, disregarding stop signs, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
