A traffic accident occurred at the 200 block of W. 5th Street on Monday at 6:20 p.m. The accident involved David E. Hocker, 90, of the 1700 block of Griffith Avenue and Timothy Cravens, 41, of the 6800 block of Thoma Drive. Cravens and two of his juvenile-age passengers were injured in the accident and were treated at OHRH.

An accident occurred Thursday at the 1800 block of Carter Road at 3:02 p.m. Drivers Joshua Seth N. Stallings, 27, of the 2200 block of Venetian Way and Mallari P. Buchanan, 26, of the 4200 block of US Hwy 431 North were involved in the wreck. Buchanan was injured and treated at OHRH.

At the 2700 block of W. 5th Street, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Tuesday. A men’s gold Bulova watch and a leather belt were reported stolen at an estimated value of $975.

A second-degree assault (domestic violence), possession of drug paraphernalia, and menacing were reported at the 1500 block of W. 4th Street on Wednesday. A syringe with a cotton swab and a purple kitchen knife were reported at the residence.

On Monday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others under $500 and fraudulent use of a credit card $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported at the 3100 block of KY 54.

At the 2900 block of Redford Avenue, a third-degree burglary was reported on Thursday. Nothing was reported stolen.

Sheriff’s Office

An accident occurred on Thursday on US 231 at 3:14 p.m. Levi W. Manley, 18, of the 2700 block of Hwy 142 and Tabitha L. Hall, 46, of the 1100 block of State Route 762 were involved in the wreck. Hall reported injuries and was treated at OHRH.
