Juvenile charged with robbery and discharge of a firearm

UPDATE:

On Monday, Sept. 24th, 2018, the Owensboro Police Department located and charged a juvenile with robbery in the first degree, and four counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree in relation to the robbery of Tyler and Kayla Mattingly.

On Monday, Sept. 17th, 2018, the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to the 2100 Block of Tamarack Road, the home of Tyler and Kayla Mattingly, in reference to a firearm discharge.

Further investigation revealed a firearm had been discharged during the commission of a robbery inside of the apartment where the firearm was taken.
