Owensboro Police Department
A theft by unlawful taking or disposition from a building $500 or more and under $10,000 and a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a controlled substance under $10,000 were reported Saturday at the 2500 block of W. 5th Street. Amphetamines (Adderall) and an iPhone 7 Plus were reported stolen at an estimated value of $601.
At the 1200 block of Gardendale Avenue, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a firearm was reported Saturday. A 9-9 MM pistol was reported stolen at an estimated value of $115.
A second-degree burglary was reported Saturday at the 1300 block of W. 2nd Street. $1,700 in cash was reported stolen.
At the 700 block of W. 9th Street, a first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of marijuana were reported Saturday. Gunshots fired were reported by the victim.

On Saturday, an accident involving drivers David J. Whitsett, 17, of the 1100 block of Yelvington Knottsville Road and Shirley R. Fuller, 63, of the 6100 block of Fairmont Court occurred at the 5400 block of KY 144. Fuller was injured in the wreck and treated at OHRH.
