On Saturday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile $500 or more and under $10,000 and a theft by unlawful disposition from a building under $500 were reported at the 1400 block of Triplett Street. A car and a cell phone were reported stolen at an estimated value of $2,100.

At the 2000 block of W. 5th Street, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $10,000 or more and under $1,000,000 was reported Monday. Three different Hustler lawn mowers were reported stolen at an estimated value of $25,231.96.

At the 1300 block of Booth Avenue (Owensboro Middle School), a third-degree burglary was reported. Miscellaneous candy and drink items were reported stolen at an estimated value of $50.

At the 2100 block of Fieldcrest Drive, a second-degree burglary was reported on Monday. Two mountain bikes were stolen at an estimated value of $1,400.

A theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a firearm was reported was reported Monday at the 1700 block of Triplett Street. The firearm was reported stolen at an estimated value of $550.

At the 3200 block of W. 2nd Street, a first-degree assault was reported Monday. A victim was shot multiple times and transported to OHRH for evaluation.

A first-degree robbery was reported at the 3500 block of New Hartford Drive on Monday. $60 cash was reported stolen.

A second-degree burglary was reported Monday at the 400 block of Cedar Street. A TV, a Playstation 4, and various video games were reported stolen at an estimated value of $580.

At the 200 block of Frederica Street on Monday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of contents from a vehicle $500 or more and under $10,000 and a third-degree criminal mischief were reported. Two Michael Kors purses, a wallet, $500 cash were reported stolen. The total value stolen approximated $1,151.

A traffic accident occurred at the corner of US-60 and US 231 on Monday at 7:05 a.m. Drivers involved in the wreck included Gregory B. Pendley, 42, of the 9400 block of Bowling Green Road, Seleena Y. Farmer, 23, of the 6700 block of Sycamore Road and Dawnetta Lamar, 54, of the 200 block of Maple Street were involved in the accident. Farmer and Pendley were injured and transported to OHRH for their injuries.
