At the 200 block of Heartwood Court, a theft of mail matter was reported on Tuesday. A costume that included a gas-mask and black pants was reported stolen at an estimated value of $43.

At the 400 block of E. 3rd Street on Tuesday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A driver’s license, two debit cards, a purse, a Sam’s Club card, a gold watch, one set of diamond rings, an opal butterfly brooch, $200 cash, and a necklace containing the ashes of a dog were reported stolen at an estimated value of $26,017.

At the 2200 block of Sheffield Court on Tuesday, a theft by unlawful taking from a vehicle under $500 and theft by unlawful taking of a firearm were reported. $3 cash and a gun were reported stolen at an estimated value of $278.

On Tuesday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported at the 4600 block of Frederica Street. A business deposit was reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,485.

At the 300 block of Crabtree Avenue, a theft by unlawful taking of a vehicle registration plate was reported on Tuesday. The plate was reported stolen at an estimated value of $5.

A theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Tuesday at the 1000 block of W. 4th Street. A 20-inch Sony TV and a gray racing jacket were reported stolen at a value of $800.

A first-degree burglary was reported Wednesday at the 1200 block of Holly Avenue. Nothing was reported taken.
