A traffic accident occurred Wednesday at the corner of Sweeney St. and E. 17th St. at 8:04 a.m. Drivers in the accident included Natalie E. Russell, 33, of the 2400 block of South Hampton Rd. and Ryan J. Hill, 22, of the 700 block of Princeton Pkwy. Hill was injured in the accident and was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for injuries.

 

In the 1700 block of Frederica St. on Wednesday, a traffic accident occurred at 11:10 a.m. Drivers in the wreck included Rhonda A. Renfrow, 43, of the 100 block of N. Ewing Rd. and Jonathan M. Davis, 26, of the 1000 block of W. 7th St. Davis was on a bicycle and was hit by Renfrow’s vehicle. Davis was transported to OHRH for injuries.

 

In the 400 block of W. 9th St. on Wednesday, a second-degree assault was reported.

 

In the 2700 block of Calumet Tr. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported.

 

In the 2400 block of W. Parrish Ave. on Thursday, a criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported. A counterfeit check was reported to authorities.

 

In the 1800 block of Triplett St. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 and a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a firearm were reported. A pistol and approximately $500 in $100 dollar bills were reported stolen, along with a black leather wallet. The total amount stolen was estimated at $1,510.
