A traffic accident occurred Thursday at the corner of Frederica St. and Southtown Blvd at 10:36 p.m. Drivers involved included Brandon Ferry, 19, of the 10000 block of Boone St. and Abraham Lopez, 35, of the 600 block of Chuck Gray Ct. A passenger of Ferry’s–Courtney Key, 17, of the 2700 block of Daviess St. was injured in the accident. Lopez was also injured. Both were transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and treated for injuries.

A traffic accident occurred Friday in the 4000 block of Gemini Dr. at 7:16 p.m. Drivers involved included Christopher B. Moore, 38, of the 4000 block of Gemini Dr. and Matthew D. Whitaker, 23, of the 700 block of W. 13th St. Whitaker was injured in the accident and was transported to OHRH for his injuries.

In the 100 block of Daviess St. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A 1998 Chevy Cav was reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,800.

In the 3100 block of KY 54 on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of shoplifting $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. 3 digital receivers and extension cords were reported stolen at an estimated value of $586.50.

In the 900 block of Wing Ave. on Friday, a third-degree burglary was reported. 175 feet of copper piping was reported stolen at an estimated value of $600.

In the 2100 block of Bluff Ave. on Friday, a theft of legend drugs or value under $300 was reported. Two unknown drugs were reported stolen at an estimated value of $2.

In the 400 block of W. 2nd St. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A motor scooter was reported stolen at an estimated value of $800.

In the 3300 block of KY 144 on Friday, a theft of identity of another without consent was reported.
