Shirley J. Himes, 49, of the 1600 block of Triplett St. was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Martha L. McDaniel, 60, of the 1300 block of W. 2nd St. was charged Thursday with first-degree arson.

Nina M. Williams, 28, of the 800 block of E. 19th St. was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth; second offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rickie D. Greenwell, 25, of the 200 block of Twintree Ct. was charged Thursday with probation violation for a felony offense, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth; second or subsequent offense), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

David L. Elliot, 33, of the 2800 block of W. 6th St. was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), giving an officer false identifying information, first-degree fleeing/evading police, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, obstructing a highway and theft of identity of another without consent.

Adam R. Carter, 34, homeless, was charged Thursday with a warrant for probation violation for a felony offense, receiving stolen property under $500 and 8 counts of theft by deception including cold checks under $500.

Sherman D. Sexton, 29, of the 200 block of N. 20th St. was charged Thursday with fugitive from another state.

Christopher S. Grawburg, 30, of the 9900 block of Collier Rd. was charged Wednesday with leaving the scene of an accident — failure to render aid or assistance, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, etc. (second offense) and resisting arrest.
