On Lafayette Dr. on Tuesday, a first-degree rape involving a person incapable of consent was reported. A first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia were also reported.

In the 600 block of W. 4th St. on Wednesday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A 2004 Sentra Nissan was reported stolen.

In the 400 block of Salem Dr. on Wednesday, three counts of third-degree burglary were reported at a storage facility.

In the 2000 block of Cullen Ave. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of contents from a vehicle $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. $600 in U.S. currency was reported stolen–all in $20 bills.

In the 1500 block of Robin Rd. on Thursday, a second-degree assault was reported. The incident was reported as an act of domestic violence.

In the 1300 block of W. 2nd St. on Thursday, a first-degree arson was reported.

In the 500 block of Center St. on Thursday, a second-degree burglary was reported. $4,500 in cash — all in the format of $100 bills — was reported stolen.

In the 3500 block of New Hartford Rd. on Thursday, a second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by unlawful taking or disposition of gasoline under $500 were reported. A counterfeit $20 was reported to authorities and $20 worth of gasoline was reported stolen.

In the 2200 block of Carter Rd. on Friday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Various hand tools were reported stolen at an estimated value of $547.

A traffic accident occurred Thursday at the corner of Worthington Rd. and US-60 at 9:26 a.m. Drivers in the accident included Allyssa Robinson, 22, of the 4000 block of Creekside Ct. and Linda Green, 44, of the 4600 block of Barrington Dr. Green was injured in the accident and was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
