A traffic accident occurred Sunday at the corner of Triplett St. and E. Parrish Ave. at 9:46 p.m. Drivers in the wreck included Johnny R. Phillips, 61, of the 8500 block of Hwy. 54 and Weiss T. Stogner, 20, of the 1600 block of Booth Ave. Phillips and two passengers–Lisa Phillips, 53, of the 8500 block of Hwy. 54 and a juvenile–were injured in the accident and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
In the 2400 block of O’Bryan Blvd. on Monday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Watches, chains, rings and a collectible American Eagle silver coin were reported stolen at an estimated value of $3,040.
In the 400 block of Center St. on Monday, a first-degree assault was reported.
