In the 2900 block of W. Parrish Ave. on Tuesday, a single-vehicle traffic accident occurred at 12:02 p.m.. Driver Janet Geer, 82, of the 2500 block of Ford Ave. drove her vehicle into a Goodwill store and shattered a window of the establishment. Geer was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
In the 3100 block of KY 54 on Tuesday, a second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported. A stolen check was cashed at Walmart for $931.33.
In the 600 block of W. 15th St. on Tuesday, a theft of mail matter was reported. Proactive face cream was reported stolen at a value of $60.
In the 2300 block of Bittle Rd. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking (firearm) was reported. The pistol was reported stolen at an estimated value of $850.
A theft of mail matter was reported in the 1300 block of Gilbert Ln. on Thursday. The item was reported to be stolen from a mailbox.
