A traffic accident occurred Friday at the corner of Carter Rd. and Tamarack Rd. at 5:22 p.m. Christopher M. Goldman, 38, of the 700 block of Deer Trail Dr. was driving a moped and Michael A. Murphy, 39, of the 10800 block of Hwy. 56 was driving a vehicle in the accident. Goldman was fatally injured in the accident.
A first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported Friday in the 3400 block of Villa Pt. A counterfeit $100 bill was reported.
A theft by unlawful taking of an automobile $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Friday. A 2004 Toyota Sienna was reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,000.
