A traffic accident occurred Wednesday in the 900 block of E. 5th St. at 3:13 p.m. Deborah L. Lambert, 57, of the 2800 block of S. County Rd. hit a pedestrian, Gabriel Duncan, 8, of the 900 block of E. 5th St. with her vehicle. Duncan was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

A traffic accident occurred Wednesday in the 1100 block of E. 9th St. at 6:54 p.m. Shannon L. Nyhvise, 27, of the 1000 block of E. 21st St. and Christina M. Light, 35, of the 2100 block of Churchill Ct. were driving in the accident. Joshua Huffman, 31, of New Hartford Rd. was a passenger in Nyhvise’s vehicle and was transported to OHRH for injuries.

 

In the 1000 block of Audubon Ave. on Wednesday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Items were reported stolen at a total of $150.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (stolen automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Wednesday in the 3000 block of Ridgewood St. A 2012 Chevy Express was reported stolen.

 

In the 2900 block of Baybrook St. on Wednesday, a theft by unlawful taking (stolen automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A vehicle was reported stolen at an estimated value of $5,000.

 

A first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary were reported Wednesday in the 1400 block of Bosley Rd. A computer and cash register drawer were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,300.

 

In the 2200 block of N. Stratford Dr. on Wednesday, a theft by unlawful taking (controlled substance) under $10,000 and theft by unlawful taking (contents from inside a vehicle) under $500 were reported. Contents were reported stolen at an estimated value of $481.

 

In the 2100 block of N. Stratford Dr. on Wednesday, a theft by unlawful taking (contents stolen from inside a vehicle) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. Two pairs of Raybans were reported stolen at an estimated value of $500.

 

A first-degree criminal mischief was reported Wednesday in the 1900 block of Standish Pl.

 

A first-degree criminal mischief was reported Wednesday in the 1100 block of Walnut St. A CSU waiting room was reported to be destroyed at River Valley Behavioral Health.

 

In the 500 block of Orchard St. on Wednesday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A PlayStation and various games were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,752.

 

In the 500 block of Elm St. on Wednesday, a first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree criminal mischief were reported.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Thursday. A 1998 Ford F-150 was reported stolen at an estimated value of $3,500.
