A theft of mail matter was reported on two counts Tuesday in the 2900 block of E. Yellowstone Dr. A check to OMU was reported stolen at $159 in value, while another check to OMU was reported stolen at a value of $185.93.
In the 3000 block of Frederica St. on Wednesday, a third-degree burglary was reported. A black hard drive was reported stolen at an estimated value of $80.
A theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Thursday in the 3100 block of KY 54. A Hewlett Packard Aid and Samsung 32-inch HDTV were reported stolen from Walmart at a value of $548.
A traffic accident was reported Wednesday in the 2300 block of E. Parrish Ave. at 2:25 p.m. Drivers James Atkins, 49, of the 100 block of Berry Rd., Max Kennedy, 54, of the 1900 block of Gunston Pl. and Pearlie Howard, 47, of the 8600 block of Hwy 81 were involved in the 3-vehicle accident. Kennedy and Howard were injured and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for their injuries.
